Reclaiming Voice

a coaching programme to connect
to your own personal power

A 4-month coaching programme to support you to listen more deeply and show up more fully in your own life.

This coaching programme invites you to lead your life from a place of clarity and deep resonance.

It supports you to find yourself in all of the external noise. It reclaims the language around power and leadership in a form that works for your unique situation, so that you can continue to be of service, support others, and feel true to yourself in the process. It creates a plan of action to live more meaningfully.

Power is a difficult word for many of us. Like leadership. If we have not grown up with an identity that is socially supported to hold power and take leadership we often feel we have to fight, apologise or negate these positions in order to be accepted, or respected. In the process we can end up suppressing parts of ourselves.

The result—a deep weariness begins to take hold of our psyche.

You may externally tick all the boxes of success,
You may be focusing on your dreams,
You may be invested in supporting or caring for others

…But you’re feeling off track and a little weary and looking to others for validation and approval, maybe even permission, to do the things you long to do, in the way you want to do them.

Time to return to you.
Time to come back into alignment with your own self and values.
Time to stand in your space.

What I bring to the table:

I am an encourager and a motivator.
You are too. And you know the flip side of this—a tendency to lose sight of yourself whilst the focus and energy is on others. In our coaching this is explored, along with practices to manage this and keep self in focus.

My coaching provides company on the journey.
It provides guidance. It prompts and probes and questions. It brainstorms. It asks for clarity. It is curious; deeply, deeply compassionately curious.

My lens is one of social justice and the social context.
We live and work within systems, communities, societies. We may not always be living in alignment with these systems and end up needing to suppress parts of ourself to keep going. We may have found ourselves feeling like we are in a constant pattern of ‘pushing through’. My coaching examines these experiences and explores the parts of us that really need to come up for air—that need to see the light. And if safe to do so, we develop ways to bring those parts of self into the world.

My work with you is influenced by many things, including formal and informal education and learning, as well as my own lived experiences. I bring to the table the strategies and thought processes that I continue to practice as I seek to show up as my most possible self.

Do you need a coach? No. You have the ability to do this yourself. But, the piece that is missing is the relationship, the connection, the knowledge you are not doing this work alone. A relationship with someone who encourages and supports you, who strides and wanders alongside you, who holds space for the messy parts, who helps you stay accountable to yourself, who reminds you of your why.

This programme is for you if:

  • You can no longer hear your inner voice in all the external noise
  • You’re regularly doubting your own judgement
  • You’re overly self-critical, or critical of others—or swinging wildly between the two
  • You’re searching for clarity on who you really are and what you really want
  • What you thought you wanted, and have achieved, has begun to lose its shine
  • You have dreams and ideas that aren’t being realized, or are being hijacked by others
  • You enjoy personal development and are ready to come back to focussing on yourself
  • You could really do with someone supportive alongside you to collaborate with
  • You’re ready, maybe hesitantly, to make some changes and take some action

Over the four months, you will focus on:

  • Slowing it all down and reconnecting to yourself
  • Listening to your unique Voice: What do you really want to say?
  • Understanding how to share your Voice, and with whom
  • Practicing, tweaking, and evaluating

And 6–8 weeks later…

  • Follow-up accountability call
What does the 4-month programme look like?
The programme starts with connecting to the voice inside you that knows who you are. We start there. Exploring what you already innately know about who you are, what you need and what you desire.

Personal power is reclaimed as your deeply held values are aligned with the energy within you. We are curious about what it is to be courageous. We look at what it means to receive. We pay attention to the systems that create obstacles. We develop a plan.

The programme includes:

  • Questionnaire for pre-coaching preparation
  • 1x ninety minute coaching session
  • 7x seventy-five minute coaching sessions
  • Email connection in-between coaching sessions
  • Activities to support your self-reflection
  • 1x forty-five minute concluding support session

Programme Cost: $2,900 (+HST)
Paid once or in 4x monthly instalments of $725 (+HST)

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need a coach?
You actually don’t need a coach. You are completely capable of doing the research, the readings, and figuring out the steps you need to move toward your desired outcome. In fact, maybe you’ve already done a lot of that, and you may be used to doing it alone.

What you find missing is someone in your corner and alongside you. A non-judgemental, supportive and caring ally for feedback, suggestions, encouragement and some accountability. You may be used to doing things on your own, not wanting to burden or bother others. In fact there may be a part of you that finds it hard to trust others to help you. My coaching is collaborative—we work together to create a map that focuses on what works best for your journey. I meet you where you are, and we work at your pace.

How do I know if this programme is for me?

This programme may be calling to you if you are feeling antsy and ready for some change. You recognize there are no magic wands (although that doesn’t stop you from hoping!) and you feel in a place where you are ready to focus on some internal reflection and some external action.

If you are ready to practice prioritizing time, space and energy for yourself (which can be like building a new muscle – some aches in the process, but leading to feeling more powerful and strong), this programme could be a great fit.

And if you know this is not yet the right time for you, no worries, and no judgement – stay connected and you will receive my newsletters that share insights and resources, and will let you know when my Coaching Programmes are available.

If you are feeling in crisis in one or more areas of your life, you may benefit from counselling prior to coaching to support you to feel more grounded.

Do I need therapy instead?

Coaching focuses on growth and development supporting a way of being and doing and showing up in the world claiming your most possible self. Coaching tends to focus more on creating internal shifts and changes through taking action that lead to desired outcomes.

Therapy often incorporates a coaching element, but tends to be used when there is a desire for deeper personal inquiry, or at a time of overwhelm or crisis. It may focus more on managing and developing emotional regulation, and creating an alternative, more self-supportive narrative. In therapy we may be exploring for the first time who we are and what we need.

Both coaching and therapy support developing greater understanding of what keeps you stuck or repeating patterns of thought or behaviour that don’t serve you. Coaching identifies those stuck places, and focuses more on moving through, or around them to reach desired goals or intentions. Whilst therapy tends to spend more time on understanding the stuck places, where they come from, how they show up.

My coaching flavour works best if you already have some deeper understanding of yourself, and what you desire, and are ready to explore what that change looks like.

How will I know coaching is working for me?

Coaching doesn’t unfortunately provide a magic wand. It requires input, some deep reflection and leaving your zone of comfort (with a toe out the door, or a huge leap – whatever you’re ready for). Over time you will notice that you are thinking in a slightly different more helpful way, or you are prepared to do something that a few months ago you would not have considered. You will feel less alone, and more supported during the process. Like anything, we tend to get back what we are able to put in.

Transformation is a gradual process of trying out parts of self, and becoming more fully alive. The process isn’t linear—like life, it may feel like two steps forward, and one step back. At times you may have some significant ahas, and at other times you will probably feel like giving up—and this tends to be where the magic is about to happen. Our coaching together is a collaboration, so you are not alone on your journey.

What do I get for my financial investment?
Depending on what coaching programme you opt for, you will receive allocated time where we focus solely on you, and what you need. We will dive into what makes you You, and how you can plan for more of that!

All coaching begins with a questionnaire for you to prepare for our work together. This supports you to get the most out of our time, and helps me to understand your needs more fully.

We stay connected via email in-between our sessions whilst we are working together, so you can share your progress.

All coaching ends with a final check in session to see how you are implementing and adapting your plan of action, and to help you clarify ongoing steps.

I'm not quite ready to commit to coaching, but I'd like to stay in touch.
I would love to stay in touch! The best way is to sign up for my monthly newsletter which will keep you up to date with when my courses are online and other events I am involved with. I also share other activities and resources you may find helpful.
